This Aloe Vera formula will help hydrate and nourish the skin to provide the ultimate lasting tan. Spray Tans using this solution will last 7-12 days (with proper care). I recommended 6-8 hour processing time(1-3 for RAPID) before showering to reveal the ultimate tanning glow.

WHAT DO I WEAR TO MY APPOINTMENT?

WHAT TO WEAR POST SPRAY?

You can choose to go fully nude, wear underwear/bra if you like tan lines. It's best not to wear a swimsuit because of all the strings, they tend to get in the way. Most tan naked, but I provide disposable undergarments for those wishing to be more modest.

Wear loose-fitting, dark, cotton clothing. Avoid silk; refrain from wearing close-toed shoes and socks, tight restrictive pants, tops, and bras.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO PREP FOR MY SPRAY TAN?

CAN I SHAVE/WAX/MANI/PEDI AFTER MY TAN?

To avoid uneven or blotchy areas of tan, it is essential to start exfoliating and hydrating the skin at least 2-3 days before your spray tan.

Exfoliation will help to remove any excess dead skin cells to reveal fresh, youthful skin. Exfoliation will also prep the skin exposing an even surface to spray, which in turn allows for an even application without error after the DHA is applied. At a minimum, it is recommended that you exfoliate and hydrate 24 hours before the spray tan session.

Moisturizing is also vital in spray tan preparation. Adding moisture to the skin will decrease the chance of discoloration, patchiness, alligator skin, and overdevelopment in drier areas upon application. Remember: Hydrated skin is healthier, and healthy skin will “hold” onto those skin cells that have absorbed the DHA.

It is best to handle your waxing and shaving before your spray tan. Waxing is always best at least the day before so your pores have time to close.  Shaving should be done at least 4 hours before a spray tan. Post-tan shaving can lessen the life of your tan, so be gentle, avoid soaking before shaving, and shave conservatively.

All beauty appointments should be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled tanning session. Services like pedicures, massages, and hair appointments can affect the outcome of a spray tan if done too close to the sunless appointment.

WHEN CAN I TAKE SHOWER?

If you're doing a rapid tan, you can shower in 1-5 hours. The color will develop more deeply the longer you allow the tan to process.

If you're doing a regular tan, you can shower in 8-12 hours (MAX 24). Rinse for 3-5 minutes with mild soap and warm water.

Opt for a more gentle shower and leave the loofah in the shower caddy. Make sure you apply moisturizer to your whole body after every shower. It helps the tan last longer, fade evenly and look it's best. Try to pat dry instead of rubbing your skin dry with a towel. Dry skin and spray tans don't mix.

HOW DO I REMOVE MY SPRAY TAN?

The spray tan will naturally fade as your body exfoliates. If you have any left over on your skin you can gently exfoliate with an exfoliation glove and a salt or sugar scrub. If you prefer to remove your spray tan, you can soak in a hot bath with baking soda and fresh lemon juice for 15-30 minutes, following with a physical exfoliant. It is best to exfoliate in between every spray tan session so you're starting a spray tan with a clean and fresh canvas to provide the maximum tanning effect.
